Lucky Sunday: National Brownie Day: Dello Mano

Lucky day! I was procrastinating from uni work today.... so I decided to go for a walk to Dello Mano @ Newstead since everyone was raving about their brownies. And yes they were indeed delicious! On top of that it was National Brownie Day and they were giving away 16 piece box of Dello Mano brownies by lucky draw. Of course I put my name down for the draw and won delicious brownies from Dello Mano!

I not only, not have to do work but on top got to enjoy all these delicious brownies. The atmosphere of the café was very chilling perfect for a Sunday arvo wind-down and staff were very lovely.

Favourite part was not the alcohol but the Krispy Kreme Donut Buffet, scientifically speaking - tons of lipids and disaccharide on a plate. >.< Still ate it!

14th - 16th November G20 Meeting, a public holiday for those work within the Brisbane district. So long weekend for me! The weather in Brisbane has been crazy hot.....and so the beach and pool it is ;)

Friday - Burleigh Head at the Gold Coast with Jamie and Roger

  

Saturday - Something Healthy

Riverside running and granola muesli yogurt breakfast @ Riverbar Kitchen  with Tiffany

 

Sunday - Pool Time and Chester Street Brunch

Another reason to go there is to check out their donuts - listed as one of the best donuts in Brisbane by Urban List .

Great interior!

Highly recommend Avocado Toast with Fetta for savoury breakfast- Delicious!

  

If sweet breakfast is preferred - white chocolate honeycomb, mascarpone hot cake would be my pick 

  

Eating Melbourne

Buffet Breakfast at Intercontinental on Collins Street -  Beautiful and classy interior with great customer service even when we went in with a discounted Groupon voucher (Food shown in picture are only a small part of what we had).

The Hardware Société on Hardware Street. One of the popular must eat place for breakfast, especially their baked eggs, coffee and hot chocolate. On weekends there's usually packed with people and long line ups.

Little Cupcake at Degraves Street

Hopetoun Tea Room, Collins Street within Block Arcade. The arcade represents the late 19th century charm and beauty and, within it is the ever Hopetoun Tea Room with their gorgeous and delicate sweetness. *always a line up (yet to try it)

 

KoKo Black, Royal Arcade CBD. Yummmmmmy chocolates and desserts - highly recommend their salted caramel chocolate.

Lygon Street for Italian Food! Bravo!

Cupcake Central, Melbourne Central - Best red velvet cupcakes ever, must try. There's also other very exciting flavours which I will have to try next time.

Le Belle Miette, Hardware Lane. The best macaroon I have had yet. I used to think Ladurée macaroons are the best but now it would have to be L Belle Miette. 

        

Burch and Purchese, Chapel Street - love everything!

Hot Jam Donut, Victoria Market - 5 is just not nough

Something healthy to break down the disaccharides.

  Cupcake family, QV - known for their cake decorations

I Love Dumplings on A'Beckett St. Cheap and authentic tasting Chinese - 15 pieces of dumplings for $10!!!!!

            

Other Macaroons I have tried during my stay in Melbourne but still Le Belle Miette is still the favourite

   

Breakfast at Southern Cross DFO, despite what the outlet shopping centre look like. The restaurant inside was very nice and had a great atmosphere with a man playing piano while we had a breakfast.

Having a coffee and chilling at Federation Square near Flinders Train Station

Degraves Street, Laneway Breakfast. Really enjoyed my laneway breaky experience!
