MBFF Day 3 - Brisbane Arcade Group Show


27th August, Day 3 of the glamorous fashion week. Annie V and I checked out the Brisbane Arcade Show. With Queensland’s biggest couture and most celebrated fashion joining the show including Daniel Lightfoot and Irma J Smith House of Fashion.  These additions to the show will join the Arcade’s other stellar designers, Bora, Maiocchi, Pia du Pradal and Tengdahl. Closing the show we have Darb Bridal Couture dazzling and beautiful bridal dresses! Stunning! Another great night @ Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival xo

Brisbane Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Day 2

Brisbane Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2014 is back! Held at the beautiful City Hall.
26th August (Day2) attended Mercedes Benz Fashion Week first Brisbane Arcade's "Accessories Bloom" @ Brisbane Arcade. A dazzling cocktail evening with my gorgeous ladies Mel, Annie V, Marie Anne, Katrina, Rhiannon, Helen and Fenny. What better than spending a Tuesday night with flowing champagne  and canapés, and surrounded with the finest jewellery, millinery, handbags and shoes . On the night work of Adam Graham Jewellery Designer, Ashley Douglas, Bradley Fine Platinum Jewellery, Brisbane Vintage Watches, Citigold, Colette by Colette Hayman, Details Designer Jewellery, Edward Meller, Girls Love Pearls, Il Mare, Kellies Antiques, Kimmison Jewellery, Little Black Dress Shop, Pandora, Robert White Jewellers, Stones Diamond Ring Specialists and The Hat Box were showcased. The evening was hosted by model and TV presenter, Sharen Kenny.

David's 5 Course Degustation


Five Course Degustation, Thursday @ Restaurant Two
Beautiful restaurant with excellent customer services and delicious food. We had a friend with seafood allergy (2nd course), so they kindly changed the fixed menu for the 2nd course from Soft Shell Carb to a nom nom beetroot dish. Planning to go back to try the 10 course menu sometime!!!

Ekka - Famous Strawberry Sundae

Ekka (Royal Queensland Show) is an annual show of Queensland held at the RNA Show Ground. The show runs over 10 consecutive das, attracting approximately 400,00 visitors. A range of competitions, exhibits, educational displays, animal and performances are used to showcase Queensland culture, produce, resources and initiatives. Furthermore, there's also sideshow ally, SHOWBAGS pavilion, STRAWBERRY Sundae, rides....etc and a range of entertainment including nightly fireworks displays.
 Last Sunday a number of us went to Ekka to volunteer at the Strawberry Sundae Stall (details below), we had brunch and off we went to Ekka for the fun stuff before starting our 4pm shift.
