This year upgraded ourselves to attend Melbourne Cup in Melbourne (4th November, Tuesday) at the Flemington Racecourse.

Southern Cross train station, platform 14, full of people heading to the race.
Gentlemen with bag full of helpful goodies for the ladies (band aid, heel cushions, hair sprays, water....etc!
Fashionable men in navy/blues suits surrounded by roses...perfect!
Winner of Race 7, one of the most exciting race of Melbourne Cup Day - No. 5 Protectionist took 1st place. Wooohoooooo
